I just put in my application for my LTC class A in Lowell this morning. I’m excited! The detective who did the processing is very nice. Lowell is a PITA, though. They flat out refuse to issue unrestricted LTC class A licenses. I’ll have to settle for the sporting restriction, at least for now.
Frankly, I’m just happy to be getting licensed so we can begin hunting for what kind of handgun I’d like to own, and get out to the range for fun.

Thank you! I’m itching to get back to the range. These next 6 or so weeks are going to be torture. Hopefully my city doesn’t dick around too much and put me off further. I’m already stuck with a neutered permit.
